Topic : Two objects sit before you: a golden hammer and a cup of what seems to be water. A note on the wall says: “Go ahead, make your choice. The outcome will decide whether you’re ready or not.” Ready for what? What is this place? Why these objects? Which will you choose?

The princess Elsa opened the door. The room she faced was black. So black that she could not see a single figure of life. She closed her eyes. She could feel wind passing by and slapping her pinkish cheeks.

“You have arrived to the very end, Elsa,” came out the voice.

Elsa opened her eyes and looked around. There, was a shining silver table with two objects: golden hammer and a cup of liquid, of what seemed to be water.

“Choose, girl,” and vanished the voice.

There was a note on the wall: “Go ahead, make your choice. The outcome will decide whether you’re ready or not.”

Princess Elsa looked at the objects.

A golden hammer; there was nothing special about the golden hammer. It seemed to be decided not as a hammer itself, but more as a luxurious indication of wealth. It had delicate patterns around the hammer. Although it was fancy and elaborate, it still was very made well to be used as hammer.

The cup with liquid; the liquid first seemed like water, but as Elsa examined she figured out it was a water-like drug. It seemed perfectly like a water outside, but when she bent to smell it and poured it on the floor, she could definitely see the difference. The cup that was containing the water-like drug had nothing special. It was simply a cup that was ordinary.

She looked at those two again. How would these help, or how would these be valuable?

“Choose, Elsa,” came the voice.

She took a deep breath, and decided to pick the golden hammer.

The moment she picked up the golden hammer, the world began to crush. The walls were falling apart, the ceiling was breaking, and the room itself and the world were vanishing. As the princess Elsa screamed, the voice came again.

“The choice you just made will decide who you become, and lead you to be ready or not,”

As Elsa fainted, that was the last phrase she remembered.

“Princess Elsa? Are you awake? Elsa?” Then came a loud knocking sound.

Elsa opened her eyes. She quickly looked around. What had happened? She was in her bed. Was that only a dream?

“Yes, I’m awake. Come in,”

As she replied, her mother came in.

“Good morning, Elsa. Today is your special day to receive the crown. How do you feel?”

“I don’t know mom,” replied Elsa. “I had an awful dream. I was a tough journey until the very last; I just ended up falling down into the broken world. I don’t even know what I’m saying,”

Queen Elizabeth quietly smiled as she looked at Elsa having chaos.

“You’ll seen realize what it is. Pack up and get ready, Elsa. People are arriving,”

Elsa looked confused, but stood up to get ready.

Before Elsa could ask anything more, Queen Elizabeth disappeared.

As Queen Elizabeth walked away from Elsa’s room, she smiled.

Queen Elizabeth had saw the gold hammer shaped tattoo on Elsa’s back. As a tradition, every new queens and kings had to take a test by the god before receiving the crown. Only ones who were ready could receive the tattoo. Queen Elizabeth touched her gold sword tattoo on her elbow. Now was the perfect time to give away the power and the crown to her loving daughter, who was ready for its responsibility.

“Open the gate, and welcome our guests!” shouted Queen Elizabeth, with a big smile. (630)
